freedom of the disco movement

Collection inspired by the freedom and liberation of the 1970s disco movement. The disco movement helped individuals in society who are experiencing and feeling oppression to truly express themselves and who they are. 

The creation of the jewellery collection was designed and created to bring across their idea of freedom of expression for individuals in current society who have a retro style and a love of the textile arts.

Once the collection was complete, the work was displayed and up for sale at neverfadefactory in Soho, in a pop-up shop event with UEL. Where I did a live event of beading some jewellery pieces to show/teach customers.
